Do you want to succeed and prosper in whatever you do? Only a fool doesn’t want to succeed in life. The Word of God provides us with the wisdom we need to succeed and be a winner. Jesus said when he was tempted by the devil, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). As you study and apply the inspired Word of God to your life you can be assured of success God’s way. (Joshua 1; II Timothy 2:15, 3:16)

The book of Proverbs is called the book of Wisdom. If you want to succeed and prosper, read, study, and apply God’s words of wisdom. “Whoever walks with the wise will become wise; whoever walks with fools will suffer harm” (Proverbs 13:20 NLT). “Only the wise can give good advice, fools cannot do so” (Proverbs 15:7 NLT). “A wise person is hungry for truth, while the fool feeds on trash” (Proverbs 15:14 NLT). “The path of the wise leads to life above, they leave the grave behind” (Proverbs 15:24). For many years I have made it a daily habit to read at least one chapter form Proverbs plus my other daily scripture readings. George Washington would retire to his room each day at 9:00 pm, get his Bible, lay it open on his chair, get on his knees, and read it and pray. He would do the same at 4:00 am each day. No wonder he was such a great leader and esteemed by friend and foes alike.

We can learn much from others, especially from wise and godly men and women. For years I have jotted down in the back of my Bible quotable quotes that inspired me. Allow me to share some Quality Quotable Quotes that have helped me and may encourage and inspire you. I will add scripture references to some of them.
