Biography

Cliff was born in Pana, IL, the oldest of 4 children – 3 boys & 1 girl. As a child his grandmother would load up her red station wagon with grandkids & take them to church every Sunday and gave his heart to Christ as a pre-teen. Cliff graduated from North Central Bible College (now North Central University) in Minneapolis, MN where he met his wife, Cyndi. In 1992 Cliff was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Through a touched from the Lord & medical treatment he has cancer free since 1993.

Cliff & his wife have pastored churches in IA, ND, SD, & IL since 1973. He has ministered in prisons, has been a volunteer chaplain at a school for Native American children and the developmentally disabled, a teacher, & writer.

Cliff & Cyndi have 3 grown children: Chris, Chip, & Carina. All 3 are married to wonderful Christian spouses. Chris is married to Debra & is the general manager of the Flying J Truck Stop in Alorton, IL & has a son, Taet. Chip is married to Rebekah & is pastor at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Bethany, IL & has 4 children: Elijah, Kaitlyn, Noah, & Seth. Carina is a registered nurse and is married to a musician, Chris – they live in Spring Hill, TN.

Presently Cliff & Cyndi live in Findlay, IL near Eagle Creek Resort on Lake Shelbyville. Cliff is involved in writing and other ministries through Eagle Life Ministries. He also conducts prison services in conjunction with Release Through Jesus Ministries. He may be contacted at eaglelife2@juno.com.

Cyndi is involved with women’s ministries & ministry to those who are hurting, survivors of child abuse (physical & sexual), & domestic violence. Cyndi also works with ministries in obtaining charitable status with the IRS and has been a professional tax practitioner for over 30 years, having passed the IRS Enrolled Agent’s exam in 1999.
